In case you couldn’t figure it out, 300: Rise of an Empire is a prequel to 300 and is loosely based on the Frank Miller graphic novel, Xerxes. Noam Murro directs and Rodrigo Santoro, Eva Green and Sullivan Stapleton star. 300: Rise of an Empire is slated for an August 2nd, 2013 release.
