According to The Hollywood Reporter Gina Carano has signed on to star in a big screen adaptation of Rob Liefeld’s comic book Avenelyne. The comic tells the story of an angel sent to earth to protect “the one”, a person who holds the key to the survival of the human race from demons and other monsters.
Carano will be at San Diego Comic-Con to sign promotional posters with herself in costume.
The search for writer/s and a director is set to begin soon with the intentions that Avengelyne will become an action franchise for Carano.
