Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson confirmed (via Twitter) his starring role in San Andreas, a new earthquake disaster movie from New Line. Filming is expected to begin in early 2014.
Mr. Johnson (as I call him) is still filming Hercules. After that he is expected to do some filming for Fast & Furious 7. New Line is also developing a third movie in the Journey franchise. It is not yet known if Johnson will reprise his role in Journey 3 or if a new actor will be brought into the series.
