Conceptual illustrator Francisco Ruiz-Velasco recently uploaded some of his concept artwork for Pacific Rim to his imgur account. This stuff always kind of fascinates me… to see how it went from nothing more than a drawing (albeit a very cool looking one) to the final finished CGI rendered monster robot.
