It would now seem that Jai Courtney (Jack Reacher, A Good Day to Die Hard) has beaten other front-runner Boyd Holbrook (Gone Girl) for the role of Kyle Reese in the upcoming Terminator reboot – TERMINATOR: GENESIS. Variety reports that Courtney has locked up the role and will star alongside Emilia Clarke (Game of Thrones) as Sarah Connor and Jason Clarke (Dawn of the Planet of the Apes) as John Connor. Alan Taylor will be directing.
Terminator: Genesis will be released July 1, 2015.
