Who are the Action Movie Fanatix?
When someone asks “Are you ready?” Action Movie Fanatix always respond with “I was born ready!”
Action Movie Fanatix are those that still believe in heroes. Heroes who stand up and fight for what is right in the world. Heroes who have seen the face of evil and detest it. Heroes who look and act like real men (or women).
The current generation is being raised by movies and cartoons without an ounce of testosterone. What does a child learn from fuzzy creatures popping out of red & white balls to “do battle” with another fuzzy creature. How can we expect our children to stand up to a bully if they have never seen John McClane stand up to Hans Gruber, Dutch stand up to the Predator or John Rambo stand up to a bunch of Russian commies in the desert?
We live in a world with more bad guys than good, where there is no longer right or wrong just shades of gray. We long for more heroes in film that can be cheered for standing up and fighting for what is right.
Action Movie Fanatix will highlight the careers of the action greats (and not so greats) who have inspired us for so many years. Action Movie Fanatix will also cover news about upcoming Action Movie theatrical and DVD/Blu-Ray releases and provide honest reviews of current and past films.
Action Movie Fanatix will also review action movies of all kinds and from all generations as well as movies from similar genres such as fantasy, sci-fi, horror and more.
Lastly, Action Movie Fanatix hopes to encourage the production of action movies and the creation of a new generation of action stars. We love helping to bring attention to the up-and-coming action stars, directors and stunt men who make the movies we love so great!
